Code of Conduct -- eBay virtual events
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners, eBay staff and volunteers at all eBay virtual events are required to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. Event organizers will enforce this Code throughout the event.
Participants must register for the virtual event and in doing so provide an email, text, phone or other contact where they can be reached during the event. Failure to register, provide such contact, or be available via the contact provided during the event will result in disconnection from the event without further notice or process.
Be considerable and respectful in your speech and actions.
Do not engage demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Be sure that your background or physical surroundings (artwork, wall covering etc.) are free of any such materials.
Do not attempt to harass or intimidate fellow attendees. The use of obscenities, lewd images or comments/texts, comments about gender, religion, political affiliation, ethnicity etc. are considered harassment and grounds for dismissal from the event.
Do not intentionally disrupt presentations or interrupt attendees that are speaking or asking a question.
Be respectful of fellow attendees and presenters/staff time. Do not monopolize/dominate a presentation by asking multiple questions or offering continuous commentary on an issue specific only to you. Attendees are expected to equitably and effectively participate in the virtual event.
Do not make audio or visual recordings of any presentations, sessions or other content presented during any portion of the virtual event.
Participants violating these rules may be disconnected from the event at the sole discretion of eBay event organizers and its representatives. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
