The “Agenda” link at the top of the screen will take you to the full agenda. You can filter by session type, and add sessions to your personal agenda by clicking the plus sign. When a session begins, a blue “Join” button will appear. Click that to head into the session!
Our eBay Open Online event page at ebay.com/open has the complete list of speakers, plus their photos and biographies. Check it out!
A selection of sessions will be posted next week at eBay for Business on YouTube. If you want to rewatch a session you enjoyed or see one you missed, you may be able to view it there.
You do not need to pre-register for any parts of the conference. There is enough space for up to 500 people to join each session! But you can add sessions to your personal agenda. Click the “Agenda” link at the top of the screen, then click the plus sign to sessions you don’t want to miss! Note, there are some capacity restrictions in some rooms (just like in-person), so be sure to enter the sessions you want to access as quickly as possible. If the session is full, we’ll be sharing many of these recordings after the event.
There are some capacity restrictions in the session rooms (just like in-person), so it’s likely that the session is already at capacity. We’ll be sharing many of these recordings after the event, but in the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Conference attendees who complete the post-event survey will receive a small gift package after the event. Quantities are limited, and the survey will only be open until August 13, so act quickly! We’ll be emailing attendees post-event survey on the final day of the eBay Open Online.
We’ll be emailing attendees a post-event survey on the final day of the eBay Open Online. Please share your feedback in the survey.
Networking rooms are open for all eBay Open Online attendees to gather and connect. The first 50 participants in each room will have the ability to share their audio and video, like a Zoom call without the need to dial in. If you try to join a room and receive a note that "Presenter mode cannot be enabled," that means that the room already has 50 people. You can either join in "Listen only" mode or pick another room. Networking rooms are numbered, so if you’d like to connect with a specific seller, make a plan to meet in a room at a scheduled time. To participate in networking, click the link at the top of the event window near the booths and agenda links.
The main stage is like a keynote room. Our executive presentations, some Forrester presentations and seller panels, and our podcast sessions will be hosted there. Check the agenda and filter to “Main Stage” to see everything we have planned.
Many of the learning sessions and category breakouts will have a Q&A tab where attendees can type questions to be answered by an eBay expert. There are thousands of sellers attending eBay Open Online and just a few hundred eBay employees across the event, so we may not be able to answer all questions. All account-specific questions should be directed to ebayopenonline@ebay.com rather than posted in the Q&A tab.
The chat feature is enabled in most rooms. Use the chat to say hello and share your enthusiasm for what you’re learning. Chats go to ALL attendees who are also in that room. All questions should be posted in the Q&A tab.
eBay booths are the place to go with your eBay questions, hosted by eBay experts. Just choose a booth based on the topic of your question and ask it in the Q&A tab there.
Make sure that your speakers are on and your volume is turned up. If you continue to have technical issues, click the “?” near the chat for customer support from the event platform, Bevy. Sometimes it helps to back out of the room and re-enter or refresh your browser.
Nope! That is how most of our sessions work. You are able to see and hear the speaker but they cannot see you. The only time that your camera and microphone will be activated is when you’re one of the first 50 people to join a networking room. When you exit the room, your camera and microphone will be turned off. It may appear that they are still on but if you refresh your screen, the true status of your equipment will be reflected.
For support for the event platform, click the “?” near chat to talk with Bevy, who powers our event platform.
